Some of you know that I have formed the non profit 501(c)3 corporation Tapestry Family Center. Which is starting to reach into the lives of families in the community showing them the tangible love of God by meeting there needs. We have already begun to offer tutoring in Math and Science. Tonight we begin a workshop for committed couples dealing with communication and intimacy. This summer we are kicking off our Summer Youth Theater Program, putting on a production of James and the Giant Peach. All of this is really exciting and I hope that you too will soon be involved in the life and mission of Tapestry Family Center either through providing a service, supporting us financially or on your knees in prayer for the work God is doing in the lives of families through Tapestry.
On May 10, 2008 I will be participating in the 2008 Human Race in Santa Cruz, CA. I am contacting all of my friends to partner with me in raising awareness, support, and financial contributions for Tapestry Family Center. To make this fund raising event a success I am asking friends to partner with me in raising $1000 to benefit Tapestry Family Center . Several friends, family members, have already committed to donating funds to Tapestry Family Center. Please consider joining me in making a difference in my community. The Human Race is a nationwide community fund raising event for nonprofit organizations, schools, and faith based organizations.
